Futures is an annual anthology of short stories and artwork by young authors from around the world, published each year by the Voices of Future Generations Children’s Initiative in partnership with the Global Youth Council. Each edition brings together award-winning voices from across six continents, exploring the world’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and imagining pathways to more sustainable futures.
From young writers picturing a world powered by clean energy, to storytellers defending forests, rivers, and oceans — Futures gives youth the platform to shape the conversations that matter most. Through fiction, poetry, and visual art, each edition captures what the next generation sees, fears, hopes for, and demands.
